This hand is from the NA vs EU tourny. Not long before this hand, my stack was crippled when my TT was taken down by the same villian's AK.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (7 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx (http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter)

SB (t8760)
Hero (t1160)
UTG (t900)

MP2 (t2110)
CO (t5820)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
3 folds, CO raises to t500, 2 folds, Hero calls t300.

Flop: (t1100) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero bets t660 (All-In), CO calls t660.

Turn: (t2420) 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t2420) 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t2420

I figured I have no fold equity preflop. So I thought my only chance to win this pot is to call preflop, then push any flop. Thoughts?

I would have played it exactly the same.

That my friends is what a Stop and Go is...no PF FE...only hope is a villain who COULD fold on the flop. Its just a slight edge but more than your PF edge of pushing.

I like the stop and go here.

why don't you want to race? a pair is a favorite over a non pair preflop.

and what would you do if the flop had a face card?

ah.. i get it. he's not going to fold on the flop. calling and seeing the flop gives you options. if there's no face card, push. if there is then check/fold?

No, I push any flop. Just to maximize the chance of me winning the pot. This is the only way that there is even a slight possibility of him folding. My hope is that he misses the flop completely, and folds.

no...wrong wrong wrong...

Its all-in on flop no matter what. Youre getting in no matter what...If villain is about a .001% to fold to your reriase preflop and 2% to fold on your push on the flop, which is better? Getting away here is never an issue.

Nah, he's not going to fold preflop, and pushing the flop gives him a chance to fold. Even a AKQ flop (hey, he could have 88)

I'd do exactly the same as well. Bad luck that he called with K7o.

You forgot the golden rule, you see.

You have to river a set/quads.
