on the button and limp (with 500) after 4 limpers with 5 /images/graemlins/club.gif 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif

both blinds call and flop comes:
A /images/graemlins/club.gif 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

checked to the cut-off who bets 50. he seems like a pretty tight straightforward player. definitely don't think he has AA but possibly 55 or 66 (however unlikely given my hand).

i make it 150, everyone folds and cut-off goes all-in (has me covered)

what do you do? would you just call pre-flop?

If he cannot have a better two pair here I call all day and expect to see Ax of diamonds / KQ / diamonds / diamond / straight draw / AK / AQ / AJ

A5s and A6s aren't possibilities?

Is there a reason why you only have $500? With a 50 BB stack It's tempting to call but I think I have to lay it down.

It depends on how tight / straightforward the opponent is.

I'd expect to see a draw most of the time, something like 78 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif or maybe Ax /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. A5/A6 definitely possiblities, as is a set, unless villian is a complete donk, don't think you'll see anything worse. Someone else could maybe do the math, but I don't think you can call here. Even when you have the best hand, you're not going to be favored by much to hold up. The other part of his range will have you dominated, so between the two I think you need to fold.

I probably call the extra 340, but its not horrible to fold. It's a "depends" situation in that it depends on whether you want to increase variance and in the metagame sense of whether you want to generate more future action if you'll be playing with these guys a lot.
