UTG Pusher Not much of a read on utg, hasn't done anything to stand out.

Guy who repushed is a total donk. Raised 56o level 1 and bet every street. and I am ahead of his range.

I doubt utg is pushing his monsters but I will probably be shown AK a lot here.

I called anyway.

Well if it was just UTG I always muck this.

But I'm not sure if the donk made it juicy enough to come in.

At higher buy ins I think this is a insta muck. If you were in some lower buy in with total morons it might a different story but probally still a muck IMO. idk though I dont play high stakes.

The second guy was a complete donk, he would be doing this with a HUGE range that I am ahead of. Had it just been UTG I fold here.

UTG ended up having AK, donk had 10J

I made a bad call. but I don't think it was atrocious.
This was my worst hand from my session yesterday, and I can live with that. I thought it was likely an error despite my read which is why I posted it.

Edit: he edited his post while I was typing this.

After I made the call, it didn't seem right so I posted it here.

I think it was my worst hand from the session. Do you think its a call with AK?

No, but I probably would call with your reads. But to me there is a HUGE difference between the two.

Especially since anytime a "quiet" player who hasn't stood out pushes for 18-20BB first in, I automatically put them on AK.

I made a bad play... I was on a major heater and played too loosely.

I learned something and fixed a leak with AQ.

I am rather confident that I am +ev even in this 225 turbos as they are very soft.


One bad play isn't enough to tell if someone should move down. If I were autopiloting, this is instamuck and I incorrectly tried to incorporate reads into my play. It happens.

this post is terrible. honestly, i think we can all agree that it was a bad call. a REAL bad call. but where do you get off telling someone they should move down stakes, when all you have seen him post is one hand? get over yourself.
