First hand of a 3 + 0.3 on stars. I get shown Jx too many times here to lay it down right?

I'd go broke there, he could either have trip jacks, set of 2s, 7s, quads, or jacks full of something. You are ahead of trips and a set of 2s here, and behind all the other hands. He's definitely not bluffing, you could lay it down when he reraises all in on you, but since it is a low buy in, I'd call off my last 1000 chips and hope that my full house is good. I have seen strange play sometimes on hands like this.

I would have ended up betting on the turn when the jack hit since noone showed aggression, and if I got reraised there, I could lay it down fairly easily. I am a pretty aggressive postflop player though.

I called. Thought it was worth it, being the first hand and all, all kind of donks still in. And I either double up or bust early and can start another one. He showed me JJ. Oops.

Was a bit weird though. I finaltabled this one last night and another one who made the finaltable last nght were at my starting table again here. We chatted about last nights tourney the minute before the tourney started (both being pretty full of ourselves /images/graemlins/grin.gif) and woops, 30 secs into the tourney I'm out.

Easy call. Only afraid of JJ and 77, and the former is a rareity.
