My biggest problem in limit holdem is knowing when to fold a good hand to aggression. This is villian's first hand at the table so I have no clue how he plays. Give no read, do I call down on the turn check raise or can I safely assume I'm badly beaten?

w/o reads, this hand was played fine. after this showdown make a big note on what his c/r meant. but against an unknown, you cannot fold here at all. nh

Standard, this is a textbook play. If the last card is also a club I consider folding, but there's still a chance on the turn that this guy is raising his lower A or even his club draw (I've seen that before). Taking a note of this guy after the hand is a good idea.

blah, check raised sucks and i suppose you gotta call it down.
Although the pot is smallish and i dont see you winning much.

You have to ask yourself what villain is calling the flop with? Any ace, any duece, a flush draw or a gutshot str8 draw. It he is looser he may even have a hand like KQ.

Turn card completes the flush, but villain may also feel it counterfeits AJ or AT if he is holding any ace. In that case he should be just calling down though.

It could go either way. I lean toward a fold.
