After 45+ years my wife is still, to me, gorgeous. My car's not impressive ('01 Saturn) but it's in extremely good shape and reliable. I've got 2 great puppies - one's housebroke (the other's drivin' me closer and closer to the edge). After bustin' out and going from having a lot of "stuff" to just the essentials and being forced into retirement, I've learned what's really, honest-to-God important in life, to me anyway. And I'm pretty much a blessed, happy little camper.

Going to my first college football game today, Badgers homecoming. I had a great time last night with great friends, and I'll be doing so again today. I have a beautiful girlfriend who loves me. I'm good at beerpong. Life is good.

i think you are taking my post as negative, as if i want him to whine. all i am saying is i get tired of everyone talking about there goofy sports cars and creating a thread about it like it means something to an anonymous stranger.
i am all for another person finding happiness within the person he loves and then feeling he has to share it, that is why i said if he just said that then it would have been fine (with me, though that doesn't mean anything), but to start creating a laundry list of material possessions seems silly to me.
