Comedy Show : Jon Stewart

Just got back froms eeing Jon Stewart live. About half the show was his political stuff (ala Daily Show) and half was him telling other, more traditional stand up jokes. He was actually really funny when he was just tellnig jokes (did a great bit about cats and dogs) but the political stuff kind of wore on me after a while. Anybody else ever see him and feel the same way or differently?

Also, seen any other good comedy shows lately? I think I want to start going to more of them.

His political stuff is old, played out, and getting more and more lopsided. I can't even watch an episode of TDS all the way through anymore. However, he is a very very funny man. I laugh in wonder when I here people referring to him as a political-satirical genious.
