Check your email with caution would be lawyers (or law school drop outs turned poker pros), the LSAT scores have been released.

I didn't ace the thing, but I did better than the average LSAT scores at any of the schools I'm applying to so I'm happy.

i have taken two practic lsats and done pretty well, particularly with no prep and the fact i am not going to be entering lawschool.

My brother texted me to say he got a 167. I'm guessing that's good. Someone help me out here? I'm not prelaw, I have no idea how scores go.

yeah that is really solid. that is what i got. it is probably around the 95-96 percentile.

167 is awesome (graded on a curve, out of a possible best mark of 180). I have the conversion table for this test right in front of me, 167 means he got 87/100.
I'm told that high 160's, low 170's is what you need for top 20 law schools.

It also means he beat me /images/graemlins/frown.gif but not by much /images/graemlins/wink.gif

but it probably just means i have a preternatural ability at multiple choice tests.
