Was thinking you lost to four of a kind 8's there at first but guess I was wrong ^^

This is kinda of funny, but an ex Starcraft:Broodwar player named TillerMan who now plays high stakes NL Hold'Em talked about hand that was almost identical in his online blog http://www.tillerman.net/2005_09_01_archive.html "Lessons learned"
