UB PLO 25$ 10 players
Hero is BB (8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif10 /images/graemlins/club.gif)
three limpers including villan on the button
hero checks option
flop: A /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/club.gif7 /images/graemlins/club.gif
SB checks, Hero bets pot, fold, fold, Villan calls & SB folds. 2 players
(no idea how villan plays but assume he is on a flush draw.)
turn: 6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Hero bets 3/4 pot & Villan calls
river: 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
(I am very confident i have the best hand here & the game is very loose as I have seen players call pot size bets on the river with all kinds of junk like 2pair with busted flush draws& low end straights on paired boards)
Hero bets pot to put villan all in...
RESULTS BELOW

Villan calls all in & shows AAxx for bigger boat.Could I have put him on AA when he didnt raise preflop or on the flop with top set? Did i overplay my hand?

U got a taste of one of the UB nutpeddlers.

The only thing that i dont like is the river bet, i would probably check/call it hoping to induce a bluff. Thinking he was on a busted draw.

Just reload a make a note on him.

I agree the river bet was where i went wrong but at the time i thought it was a value bet & i would get a call with a str8 or something less.

That's a wild play. Honestly I wouldn't even hesitate to re-pot on the flop in Omaha... of course in NLHE I may smooth call... depends on my mood.

Lot's of players limp with AA looking to reraise a raiser. And he did play the flop bad by slowrolling on a drawing board. The nice thing is that had you bet a very good drawing hand on the flop (straight+flush draw) that he would undoubtedly have paid you off on the river if he didn't fill. However, you should not have bet the turn as he normally would have had a drawing hand by smoothcalling and often would have gotten there with that turn card. On the river, unless you are against a known LAG who could have anything, bad fulls are mostly folds and bluff catchers at best.

I don't know anything about any inside joke, but for some reason this was hilarious. tx.
