Was playing a NL tournament. Blinds were 10-20. I had about 1400t. UTG opens for twice the BB (40t). callers to me and I called with 66, BB calls.

Flop: AA3

I check as I am absolutely sure UTG has a big A. BB checks, UTG bets 20. All fold to me. I look at his stack and see he has about 850 left. I think jeez I'm getting over 40:1 as I think if I catch I can bust him for sure.

Well as you know by now turn came a 6.

I checked he bet 250 I put him all-in he shows AJo and I win.

there were a few comments naturally. But I thought it was a no-brainer. he bet too little on the flop. if he bets 100
I cant call.

your thoughts?

actually i think chris moneymaker busted phil ivey on a hand just like this, except.. phil had 99, flat called chris's bet on the AAx flop with AQ, turn came a 9, phil ended up all-in and a Q came on the river to bust phil.

Bet size, and relative stacks. Notice I can bust him but he cant bust me. And I'm getting over 50-1 on 23-1 shot.
