Online 5/10

I get KdQs UTG and raise it in my usual overagressive manner. LP cold calls and button 3-bets (in his own usual overagressive manner). Mr. Anytwowilldo calls in sb, I call and now LP caps??

*** FLOP *** : [ 8d Kc Ad ]

I check, LP bets, button folds, sb calls (as allways), I raise, both call

*** TURN *** : [ 8d Kc Ad ] [ 2d ]

sb folds, I bet, LP calls,

*** RIVER *** : [ 8d Kc Ad 2d ] [ 9h ]

I bet and LP calls.

What was going on in this hand?

No comment? OK I'll just post the results later for Pufferfish.

KQo UTG. that is aggressive. I guess it depends on the texture of the game. I'll do that sometimes on a tight table.

The flop check-raise is good. LP could be betting the draw.

On the turn the flush looks scary...good place for a bet with second pair.

If he called the river I think you're beat. He has: Baby flush, pocket 8's (afraid to be once the flush got there), or an ace with marginal kicker.

Or he's a moron.

How did I do?

Why do you want to be the aggressor postflop? If you have the best hand, a free card isn't likely to hurt you. No loose player is going to fold a better hand. All you might accomplish is getting him to toss his TT or something.

you are right Rob. I wanted to see if he was serious about his flop bet. Pretty stupid considering that he'd put me on possible AK and not 3-bet.
