!st off I dont have any reads on villain because stars has few full time cash grinders and I dont play a gazillion hands a week so it's hard to keep track of many players.

Mp player however is an obvious calling station donkey though.

It seemed obvious to me even at the time that villain had filled up on the river but I knew donkey probably only had trips. So should I have folded? I'm guessing yes but thoughts of "the pots too big the pots too big" kept floating through my mind.

Why no raise pre-flop? Its a must here. This hand becomes easier to play too.

First, you have to raise preflop.

With your line and without a read I think you have to call down. If he raised with K6, Q6 or T6 more power to him. I would put him on AA, AK, AQ, KK, QQ or A6.

AJo is a good hand! Especially shorthanded!

I usually raise with AJ on the button. It's a rare play for me to limp behind with it but I did it so it's not an issue. However, the way he played it was eerily familiar to a well played set.

I guess from the responses it seemed like a good call.
