I just went through PT database. Looked up a 68/29 and found him raising w/ 83s, 87o and 86o preflop.

i agreed with the turn check but the river is close for me. depending upon my thoughts of what villain would call the flop with dictates my river action. if i had no read whatsoever then i call as well.

This guys stats indicate that he is a maniac in my opinion, but maybe your observations of his play have said otherwise. Against a maniac, isn't this hand strong enough to bet the turn and call all the way down if raised?
