I just started playing at Pokerstars and I seem to find it much better for me.

I found that on Party I was having problems moving up even from the lowest level.

However, at Stars I play at the $1 level (only way I can hope to clear the bonus).
I am up over the time but I know that can easily be variance since I am only talking about a few thousand hands.

The thing is I feel more comfortable there. Seems to me there are plenty of fish around at those levels.

Is this just my impression because I am winning or is it possible that this site suites my play more than others?

I play only 6-max and find that my VPIP and PFR are both quite low (14% and 3.4% respectively).
I know these numbers are VERY low for 6-max and have been trying to push them up.
However, they seem to work there.

So,

1. Does it make sense that PS is better suited to me.

2. Should I stick to the numbers above or should I still be trying to get them higher? If so, what sort of hands should I be playing that I am probably not?

I noticed the same thing. I was playing about 17/10 there though (nl $1 6max at stars).

It seemed like nearly everyone I played against was a shortstack also.

Your pf raise % seems tiny to me. But its no good to generalize about these things.

Yeah the worst part about PokerStars is 90% of the players buy-in for the minimum or some ridiculously low amount. It's really lame.
