I find this happening to me alot and I dont know what to do the button here is a 50+ VPIP and a passive player, no read on bb

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.

Same thing but i have A7 spades now

I don't think that it really even matters whether or not you raise if the BB is calling anyways. There might be a tiny bit of EV, but its tiny for sure. With a hand like A-7s you can't be more than a 50% favorite, that is if the BB doesnt have a real hand. The most important part of hands like this IMO is postflop play. That is where most of the EV is in all of poker.
