As someone with more money and talent than me said "to get action you got to give action".

I like to bet aggressively made hands so I guess to get paid off I have to SOMETIMES bet ropey draws (gutshot + flush draw on the flop, OESD + flush draw on the turn). Its the turn bet that's the one i guess people will call horrid...

Anyone play it the same way?
Which bet do you really dislike and why?
Anyone not call turn raise?

I'm trying to improve my play so flame away

personally I don't like the check raise on the flop I think that makes playing the rest of the hand OOP Very difficult

I'd prefer to just check/call the flop or to get all the money in, way to easy for an UTG raiser to have connected with this flop. Also don't bet the turn that's just spewing IMO.

For God's sake, check/fold that river. Save $15 at least. And check the turn or bet/3 bet all in the flop.

I think the flop raise is your mistake. Don't raise when you don't have it and you have to act first on the turn.

I don't mind raising the flop if you're last to act and he bets $5. Then he'll probably call and check the turn to you.

i just hate playing draws OOP.

other guy should have 3-betted you on the flop, so he deserves to lose.

The river isn't the important street here though, you should be concerned with the flop play and figuring out your plan for the turn if you miss or hit

All in on the flop seems a poor play to me.
Not in terms of this individual hand but in terms of how I bet other hands. If I had hit a set I think all in on the flop isn't going to maximise value - its a massive overbet (approx 90 raise into a 10 pot), I want the guy with me. I bet this hand like I had a set then after the turn raise had to hit my draw... plus I look like a looney setting me up for a later made hand. No one agree?
