Ive never posted in OOT so I didnt realize that talking about poker in relation to another event was such a big deal to people here that it would cause an over reaction that would destroy a thread and take it completely off topic. You want to do that again? Is every post I make from now on going to be about how I shouldnt have done that? Just curious.

No, because I don't see you making too many more posts in OOT. Our mod, [censored] is a good-hearted soul who enforces the rules of OOT with extreme prejudice. Next time you decide to post in a new forum, take 30 seconds and read the stickies regarding rules and etiquette.

read the FAQ's in every forum you go in, not too tough.

1. you talked about *****
a) which created rule #10 and you got a second chance
2. you then start a thread about another poster
3. you start a thread that lacks thought and content

this all adds up to bad things that can be avoided if you just click on the links at the top of OOT.

Im sorry, next time I will. Ive never ran into this before anywhere else. Everyone here seems to have made it their personal mission to berate me for not following a strict set of rules for a forum that I assumed wouldnt have any. Even people with pedifile avatars are chastising me. im sorrrrrrrry.

That is the preferred method. However, grabbling URLs from the results of using the search function and some other links contain characters that mess up the URL function.

edit: at least it used to mess things up, I'm not sure if it still does.
