$400 -- Jets +7 -- Jets' defense can keep this game close.

$300 -- Redskins -12 -- utter mismatch. Redskins' D may shut out the 49ers, and Brunell has the Skins offense purring (purring for the Skins, that is).

$200 -- Rams -3 -- public seems down on the Rams, and for good reason, but only giving 3 at home here seems awfully low. Jamie Martin can do the job at home against a horrid Saints D. Rams may give up a lot of points, but at home they should be able to cover 3.

$100 -- Vikings +2 -- because the two things I love best are boats and hookers. And because the Vikes have to win a game one of these days, and GB is not good enough to be laying points on the road, not with that defense.

Bengals...because it's time for this team to win a big game in the division and Pitt is banged up enough for it to happen.

Redskins...because their offense has actually been showing up lately and the Niners just SUCK.

Over Buff/Raiders....because neither team can stop the run. Each will have to cheat toward the line because of that which should open up some big pass plays.

Bills...because I expect them to hit more of those big pass plays. This is a pretty good team with Holcolmbe QBing.

Giants -2 New York has been solid at home this year. They have also been good against the run and really poor against the pass. The upside is Jake Plummer is coming to town after two good games. It looks about time for one of those Snake shits the bed games.

Dolphins -2 Chiefs are flying in this morning for this game. Changing time zones and an early game should make this sloppy. In sloppy games the team with the better defense usually wins. Miami has the better D.

Steelers +1.5 I've said it before, the way to beat the Bengals is simple. Run the ball, don't turn it over and get pressure on Carson Palmer. These are probably the three things Pitt does best. I thought McNair could avoid the turnover bug last week and he couldn't. When it comes to the king of no turnovers it is Big Ben. With him back the Steelers are gold.

Vikings +2 Everyone is on the Packers in this game. The Vikings are a sinking ship /images/graemlins/blush.gif The Packers are back after wiping the floor with a Saints team that has quit. Right Min wins. Of course this is my $100 because of my don't bet stupid coaches rule.

Once again, I am down 1800 in this thing and have yet to have a positive week. So fade away

My current system has Texans +16 better than Rams o46, but I just couldn't bring myself to bet on Texans versus Colts even with all of those points. The Cardinals and Seahawks both giving only 3 points seemed to good a deal. And the Vikins should go way up.

Giants - Screw betting with my head, i'm going with my HEART baby. Also, the Giants offense has been top notch lately, and i don't think Tiki has even been playing his best.

Steelers - Big Ben is back, and i think Begnals are overrated (Well, so are the Steelers, but they're still better than the Bengals)

Cols - Colts have won by an average of like 15 points, Texans have lost by something similar.. Colts defense has been unbelievable, and their offense speaks for itself.

Packers - Vikings are the laughingstock of the league, and Brett is going to tear them a new one.

Actually going with my gut started me out at 3-13. Then I checked out the BSP picks and realized I was just being dumb, so I tried to look for "obvious" lines and go against them.

Oh well. I would love to be at one extreme of somethign on this board.
