I'm sure I misplayed this, but I don't know what the best approach would've been. Comments?

Calling one third of your stack blows. Go all in preflop.

or hey, you could fold.

i agree that the preflop play stinks. however, i mean, you're owed a "your post flop play sucked," so consider this given to you, by me. pushing the flop wouldn't have even been bad, no?

I think you're right. I'm just a bit gunshy with AKo. Especially since the blinds seemed relatively small.

Before someone calls me an idiot, I have no idea why I think 300/1300 = 1/3. Still calling that much sucks.

Agreed. But once I make the mistake of just calling preflop, do I bet the flop? Fold the turn?

once you get to teh flop, and it comes so that you either a) might have hte best hand b) might fold a better hand c) might have as many as 10 clean outs if you're behind, i probably push there, seeing as how i have 1000 behind in a 700 chip pot

Yeah, what he said.

But if you take your line, the turn is a very shaky place to make a move. He's giving you a great price to just call.
