This message is being interupted for the following public service announcement. Stats posts go in the designated stats thread.

Thank you

I'm in a nightmare of a downswing....

I don't think I suck enough to account for a full -8.23BB/100. The folowing bonus-clearing experience comes after some ridiculously bad sit-and-go results.

If some experienced players could use the below stats to give me some direction, I'd be most appreciative. Please be gentle. Sorry, I don't have a URL to load the image -- text only.

eurobet 1/2
hands -- 1062
vpip -- 16.84
pfr -- 9.13
w$wsf -- 31.96
wtsd -- 35.05
folded sb to steal -- 87.50
folded bb to steal -- 80.95
att to steal blinds -- 29.67

I suspect that a weakness in the face of aggression is a major factor.

I can't see anything that jumps out at me. This is a really small sample size, so it could just be running poorly. What is your post-flop aggression like? (individual streets please)

You've not even dropped 100 BB and you're worried? Sorry, bro, but this is just part of the game. You'll have 200 BB downswings if you keep playing, and you'll have to shrug them off like it was nothing. No one will have much to add beyond

Again - very small sample size, so who knows (see the Wookie's post) - but...

Your turn and river could be a bit low - you may be backing down a bit and check/calling too much. It's hard to say just from those numbers, but mine were 2.79/2.21/2.06 for comparison. I'm no expert, either, so don't use those as a target.

You certainly could be missing a ton of value bets. It was a difficult skill for me to learn - and still is.

Keep studying, reply to some hands, and maybe post a couple turn and/or river questions you thought you may have backed down too quickly on.

Good luck.

I agree. Clearly, someone has put a voodoo curse on you. I can get rid of it for you, but I'm going to need a lock of your hair, a live (for now) chicken, and, uh...oh, yeah, all your money.

"I don't think I suck enough to account for a full -8.23BB/100."

actually. maybe you do.

but more honestly:

whether or not you do or do not suck has almost nothing to do with your "winning" or "losing" over 1k hands.

the stats are irrelevant too.

I was giving it the opportunity to live, hoping the forum would moderate itself and not keep bumping this to the top. At this point, this has had it's day in the sun. It's time to make way for strategy. Please put future downswing rants in the NC thread, and stats posts in the stats thread.
