depends on my mood, a lot of times I'll play 4 or 5 200NL when I'm running good and playing well and sometimes I have to play only 1 or 2 because I'm playing bad but the game is too good to pass up on

I only play 1, but that may be the reason for my tilt problems. I never had problems with tilting in my first 1 year of poker (limit holdem and then NL sit-n-go's). I'm going to start 3-4 tabling the 100 game and relearn the basics and try cut out the FPS.

i've been 8 tabling the 200 nl 6 max for about 10k hands now

they are so soft if i had a 3rd 20" lcd i'd go to 10

i'm just trying to get a feel for the game though, i'll probably drop down to 4-6 when i play 400 nl this or next week.

I've been trying 9 but with just my 15" laptop monitor and Party shorting the timer it's been a bit of a stretch. 8 I rarely time out.

10-max I'll handle 10 .. but 6-max I'd say 4 at the moment, maybe 5-6 once I'm used to it.

Zero. I'm a donkey.

Heehaw.

Seriously though, I usually only play 1 or 2 tables. I like knowing what my opponents are doing.

3, Although I've only played 10k hands of 6-max ever, so that number may go up in the future if I feel like it

It is possible to configure tables in such a way that you can see a piece of 12 different tables at once.
You click each piece of a table that you see (brings out the table to the foreground), do whatever, and move to the next table in a clock-wise direction.

It is easier to be a 1BB/100 player per table with 12 tables than be a 6BB/100 player with 2 tables.
(For me, this applies to $25-$100 NL. I never tried 12 tabling on $200 NL.)
