Villain has 60/25 stats, but this is only over 25 hands. He just sat down.

Villain has 40bb, and I cover. 5-handed game.

I open in the CO with T/images/graemlins/spade.gifT/images/graemlins/club.gif, BB calls.

Flop (8bb): K/images/graemlins/spade.gif 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif
BB checks, I check.

Turn (8bb): 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif
BB bets 8, I call.

River (24bb): 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif
BB bets 16, I call.

Thoughts? Thanks guys.

bet the flop for value.

you can't really pot control if he only has 40bbs.

I probably bet that flop 50% of the time, check the turn and call villain's river bet like an expertly trained donkey /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would have bet on the flop to find out where I stand. If he hasn't got a king he probably folds, if he raises I know I am beaten.

I don't think this is enough reason to bet.

I don't think I agree with the first part. That board is very dry, and a lot of players will call with smaller pairs (this is another good argument for betting).
