SudaCare Shower Soothers are awesome for colds. If you haven't seen them, they're these little round tablets about an inch and a half across that you drop in the bottom of your shower when you take one. When the water hits them they fill your shower with eucalyptus and menthol vapors so it's kinda like standing in a vaporizer.

I'm sure they don't really do anything to help the cold, but when you wake up all crusty and with a head full of snot, they make you feel a little better temporarily at least.

Never heard of them. Sounds worth trying. Even if you don't have a cold.

I think they might be new. And yea, it's nice. Might be kinda expensive though. Not sure what they cost, they come in packs of 3 so probably not cost effective on a regular basis.

Eat some raw chilli, that'll clear up your sinuses and will certainly wake you up. (I'm not kidding, I used to eat a lot of this.)

The product sounds interesting anyway, I wouldn't mind trying it just for fun.

The only shower soother I would ever consider using is my girlfriend's mouth.

Actually I've found eating raw garlic incredibly helpful during colds and flus. It supposedly has strong anti-germ and anti-viral properties, and also has other effects I like. It creates a feelng of warmth that is welcome, as if it were energizing my struggling body somehow, and it does a terrific job of loosening up phlegm deep in the lungs.

Hot peppers I also find a bit helpful too. But raw garlic, and onions as well, really seem to do a lot for me when I'm sick.

I've been known to make a batch of buffalo wings w/ extra cayenne when I'm really trying to move a cold along.

That's a good plan even when you don't have a cold, too!
