Of course Simon..I deliberately worded a few with a view to them being longer term lines.
Dogsballs, These are for entertainment only, I'm hoping people will try to guess them all, and we can have a top tipster for a bit of fun.

Hmmm. I'll have to think about these.
Funny story: I'm at Foxwoods on Saturday for the weekly Limit HE tourny. During a break, some guy in the men's room comments on my Paradise Poker T-shirt and asks me my screen name. I tell him and he says, "Kurn. K-U-R-N" I say yeah, he says "don't let Lorinda beat you again!"
There's my 15 minutes. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

If people put together their answers to lorinda's under/overs, we could make a little league or something - A point for each correct guess.
I'm going to sit down and have a go at them later this week, hope some others do too. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Just a quick question Lori - if I wanted to go with the exact number you posted, for instance number of repeat finalists = 3, would I put over or under? Or just put the same?

I just took a quick check on the results from the 1st tournament, & not for nuthin....I don't see a whole bunch of dead money there. So......Given pretty much nothing but the strong play that I saw when playing last time, trying to handicap the next one is gonna be somewhat of a shot in the dark, doncha think?

Under...I'd love to be wrong though
Running Time: 198 minutes
Over?
Winners Stars initial: A-L or M-Z
I'll take A-L.
Defending champ (Me this time) finishing position: 22(under=better placing, over=worse placing)

Defending fish (Miah this time) finishing position: 24
Over (Although he'll still do better than I would if I were playing)

Over
The Boss (Simon Diamond) finishing position: 25
Under...Go Simon Go!
The Bag (GrannyMae) finishing position: 26

Champ or Chimp (OC's finishing position):27
hmmm...is fishy playing too? /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
I'll say champ (under).

Not sure how you should handle the draws Simon.. In American betting it's a no-bet, however after this month, maybe we could make a scoring system where _I_ get the points if I nail the spread dead on, Ill keep posting the lines though, and leave everyone else to sort the rules.
One thing that I will adjust for though is that personally If you wanted a fun league or something, I'd use the British system of +1 point for each point you are correct, and -1 for each point you are wrong, this would require me to move some of the lines... The number of posts line for instance, 260 or so is about right, but if people got more points for winners with 1000 posts then obviously the line would have to be a bit higher to adjust for it.
At the moment, Ive assumed the lines would cover an evens bet with dead-on as no bet.

Here is a quick recap of the rules for the new MIP award for KotZ II -
a) To be eligible you must have appeared in the previous KotZ edition (KotZ I in this case obviously).
b) Players who place in the money in the present KotZ edition (KotZ II) will not be eligible.
c) The points system is based on the ranking points system. The person who scores the biggest improvement on their points from one tournament to the next receives the award.
For example - Player A scores 85 points in KotZ I, scores 650 points in KotZ II, thus their MIP points score is +565.
Good luck to all who placed lowly last time /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Ill be running this one as a test run, but I intend to run it as a monthly competition of some kind.
Do people prefer the over/under american style (that is, you are either right, or wrong) or british style (That is more points the more right you are)
I think the British system is probably more fun for next month, and Ill get in touch with SD when I have come up with something that makes sense.

right wrong, there are 2 choices over or under, anyone posting opinions as to actuals are just having fun IMHO
lorinda

Just to clarify Rollaj.
In the USA you got odds of say 19/20 on the under and the over, so if you bet 20 units "under" lorinda and lorinda wins then you win 19 units.
In England you pick "under" lorinda at 22, lorinda wins the tourney , you win 21 units, lorinda comes 54th you lose 33 units.

Had not really thought about that. I am more interested in playing and road-testing Pokerstars' tourney and ring game features.
(I'll take the over on where I'll finish. I'd say about 1/3 from the bottom.)
My Pokerstars name will be NoPlayer, as it did not seem appropriate to use Truepoker CEO on their turf.
