Yeah I was trying to get him off a low heart, or maybe he had two pair and he thought by my line that i was bs'ing. But looking back I'm thinking I should just do my normal line of checking but was tryin something different.

What for? Flop bet size looks okay

And yeah check the river.

I just think your likely ahead and you want to make someone pay to see another heart. Which is why if I have a big pocket or something against one person and the flop is suited (and I have no suited) I make it a bit bigger than normal to try and make someone pay to draw to the flush.

if he'll fold a low heart then he'll fold two pair as well. if he'll call two pair then he'll call a low heart as well.

This is a very expensive way to find out if your pair is good. If I have a big pair and the flop comes in one suit that does not match one of my big cards, I am slowing down. Maybe I make a pot sized bet on the flop, but try and see a cheap showdown if I am called.

How much is he supoosed to bet on the flop? $10? Pot sized bet is fine here imo.
