while this song will never win in a contest like this, the theme from the greatest american hero will get stuck in my head for days...damnit. i think it's because i used to want to stay up late to watch it so bad...but would have to go to bed...and thus only heard the theme song.

Yes, I know the lyrics well, but there were two versions of the song with the same lyrics. Season 1's music was different from Season 2-onward.

Hawaii Five-O, probably. Either that or Gilligan's Island.

The Brady Bunch's theme song is also way up there.

There's just too many. I thought I'd pwn'd it with the 60's batman, but lots of the ones already mentioned are equally strong. Currently for me, the Star Trek (original) end song, the Incredible Hulk, and the Muppet Show also seem reasonable.

This is sort of begging for a poll given the level of interest, cos consensus isn't working, so democracy seems the only fallback.

Vavavoom
10-18-2005, 05:53 AM
Only problem with a Poll is the seeding...

I think u could do it via the decades of the first showing...

Ie. Nightrider, = 80's
Ie. Batman = 60's

And have them seeded into individual decades...

Then after they have progressed through - u could have top 4 or 8 ..... The 2 finalists from each decade go into a Final voting system...

I would consider doing it unless you have already started...

**If a poll of this has been done before then I will pass obviously...However, I can't view the Archives at work, for some reason they get Websensed and thus I wouldn't be able to check....Waffle over**

**FWIW diebitter, It would be difficult for me to do at work though, well the inital workings, so feel free to do it, I will offer some classics to the inital list if u need some help...**

title change for anyone who can find the original thread we did on this about a year ago. I searched the archives last night but couldn't find anything.

I always thought Knight Rider (http://home.comcast.net/~millenniumbiz2/tv/Knight_Rider.mp3) was cool.

BTW that is the proper protocal for a thread like this.

Sweet thanks.

Anyways I was toying with the idea of composing a sort of FAQ of OOT which would be comprised of links to often discussed topics like this.

Now I don't think something like this is a slam dunk at all. It's not necessarily a bad thing to have some recuring topics. But having a master list may be nice.

thoughts everyone?

I think that's a pretty solid idea.

Just the other day I started the cowbell thread without knowing that we had already done it.

Sounds like a massive task to undertake, though.
