$27 turbo - 9-high flush

Should I be going all-in here? Am I overthinking a simple play? I've pretty much played it like I have a flush and he doesn't seem to be scared. Can he have a higher flush? Would he call an all-in without a flush?

Is there any sense in calling? I can't make an argument for it. Just need some confirmation. Thanks.

The hands that beat you here are not often enough to warrant a fold IMO. I would just get my chips in w/o thinking too hard.

Not your question but I would not limp this hand from such EP too often...I find it is just bleeding chips and your Implied odds are completely unknown here, IOW, difficult to guage...neermind the fact that you could be looking at a moderate raise which you would feel compelled to call while being OOP. I would fold this pf.

Given the the villai is the BB, I only set i could see here would be 44 which he was trying to bet on the flop and to rpotect against the flush. Many players will over bet their string hands when the scare card comes (IOW "If I am behind I lose a lot, and If I am ahead I win a little...")

But maybe 2 prs etc...as well would play like this at the 27s...The problem is that so many times at the 27s you are ahead here that it makes it hard to get away from. I'd say 40% or less of the time he has a higher flush...Total anecdotal guess...sorry I cant do better than that.

i would have folded preflop...but since you are in I call and go broke if I have to.

hmmmmm i need to make a post, pros VS cons on doubling up or going broke in the first level with preflop drawing cards, like suited connectors. I personally don't ever play them unless in specific situations. Like late and I'm very low and its a multiway pot, maybe 3 from the money. My whole thing is i don't like giving up my edge by gambling with those cards early. I feel I can steal enough and/or outplay people enough late, to make up those chips I could have won early by risking everything.

i think limping this has got to be +EV, especially considering stacks of 1500.

I like the fold here PF as well.

But staying on topic I see no reason to reraise allin this hand. Ummm the only concern is a higher flush, obviously... however I dont think that villain is going to have that enough times to make this push incorrect.

Push and hope for the best.

Otherwise, fold preflop.

I think you need to ask youself this question....if you raised with dueces in the first level, and got re-raised all in and the guy told you he had AKo, would you call??? PLaying 98s is gambling, and gambling sometimes isn't bad. But gambling in the first level, and in UTG+1 spot is not the greatest of plays.

Something to think about. Playing suited connectors OOP as opposed to IP, is a HUGE difference. When playing them OOP you lose a betting street. Which means it's very hard to calculate Expected Value.
