Is there a way i could find out who owns a site?

There's a website that does this for you. I don't remember the name, I think it's "Whois" or something, you can probably just google it.

I always use Go Daddy's WHOIS (https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/whois.asp?se=%2B&ci=288). It always seems to give me more info than other WHOIS.

It has a lot of other useful stuff and you don't have to put up w/ all the ads and stuff on the registrar sites.
