I've never ran a marathon or more than two miles in my entire life. I need some action, does anyone want to bet whether or not I can compete in a marathon?

What do you mean by compete? My Mother-in-law "competed" in a marathon a few years ago.

by compete, I should merely suggest complete. Perhaps add, within the mean expected time of a runner my age +/- some deviation?

Anyway, if you do it, good luck. Personally, I'd go for something more reasonable like a triathlon (not the ironman) or a 10k or something if you've never run more than 2 miles.

I ran one, and Im sure the devil was coooooold.

Honestly, with the exception of winning a large tourney, getting your second wind after killing yourself running for 45 minutes is the greatest feeling ever.
