UTG +1 stats are 27/20/3.5 Very aggressive when head up. I was originally going to bet out, assuming he would raise, but for some reason I decided to check riase.
Whats your line on flop and turn. I felt like a pretty big donk after the hand.
Im thinking maybe just let him bet the whole way, and try the check raise on the river?

you need to fix the action, try taking the word "texas" out of the HH, or use the updated converter, here (http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter/)

On the converter page, there is a dropdown under Format:

Make sure that is on 2+2 forums and not on "FTR."

i c/c flop and c/r turn, but i think a lot of lines are ok here, against most opponents, i dont think we should be waiting till the river, because ace high hands are not likely to bet, against this guy, its probly ok, but id still probly raise the turn

the check raise probably scared him off and he decided to shut it down on the turn if he didnt improve. im thinking check the flop and let him bet, call his bet. check raise on the turn representing a flush draw in which case he will either call or re-raise you giving you extra bets. then on the river bet out right and he may pay you off to show the hand down.

when you flop the absolute nuts like this you want to get max value, not push him out of the hand. let him believe he has the best hand and punish him for it.

One good line against an aggro. villain is to bet/call the flop then donkbet the turn in hopes of 3-betting.

Am I the only nit who folds this preflop, even against a 20% raiser?

After the flop I rely on his aggression and bet the flop into him. He'll almost assuredly raise regardless of his holding.

The problem comes in maximizing value on the turn and river, because most of the time he has exactly nothing. This may be one of the rare times that I wait for the river to raise, but I'd hate to have him check behind. If he's that aggressive, I would probably go for it though, since he'd probably fold to a bet anyway.

This is just one of those situations where it's hard to get value out of a guy who likely holds nothing except by playing second-hand-low the whole way.

No. This preflop call sucks.
