Party... Villian has been very tricky and aggressive so far and have often made bets when someone showed weakness.

I usually (98% of the time) play my good hands very fast but this time I decided to take a different line.

Comments on all streets are preciated.

given your read, i think this is a call. you've showed weakness up until the river. easy call, imho

Folding looks out of the question. I would be real tempted to put him in for his last $100 or so. Close I guess.

Don't see it as a Bad Beat story, because it is'nt. I guess I can only blame myself. Was it what sklansky call a mathematical disaster? (or smth like that) Or did I have a good line and was just a little unlucky?

** Dealing River ** [ 4h ]
HERO bets [$150].
RonnieG1 raises [$350].
HERO calls [$200].
RonnieG1 shows [ 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif ] three of a kind, fours.
HERO doesn't show [ A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif ] two pairs, aces and jacks.
RonnieG1 wins $911 from the main pot with three of a kind, fours.

Are you seriously asking if you can fold this river, or how you played the whole hand?

A lot of times I'll lead the turn here - the Ace is either a scare card, or it hit him too so you'll be raised while way ahead (especially since he's very aggressive as you say... if he already has a set you're going to double him up, so whatever) and might be able to get it all in on the turn. If the Ace did scare him, you are not getting much more out of this hand regardless of what you do.

Barring that, the raise on the river is the best you can hope for since you didn't build a pot with what should be the best hand here majority of the time, especially 3-handed.

PS. Now I'm going to read the results /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

[bump]

I have thought about, and discussed this hand pretty much without coming up with a good line if the same situation occurs again.

The problems as I see it is:
Stack sizes
Tricky opponent

Please help me come up with a (or more) good line(s) and why! Would preciate it.
