I'm making my first foray into PLO, and really don't know much. I have an idea of what a reasonable opening hand is, starting requirements, etc...

I'm in the BB with QhThAd8d. One EP limper, an MP raise to 4. SB calls, I call, limper calls.

Flop is AhTc9d, giving me top two and a gutshot straight draw. SB checks, I...

Check/fold. You may be "winning" now, but there are few cards you like on the turn, and even fewer you like on the river. The only safe card you have on the turn is a T or an Ace. Anything else either puts more draws out there or completes a straight draw. You might have the best hand if no more cards come out, but you could be drawing pretty dead otherwise.

The flop you were looking for included a Jack, a nine, and two diamonds.

What? Check-fold is way too weak. Pot it, fold to a raise. You may very well pick up a flush draw on the turn if you are flat-called by a better hand.

I either bet/fold to a PSR or or check/raise. Usually bet/fold to a PSR. Peel if min-raised.
