I don't think it's horrible. Maybe the size of the pot at the time of the turn-raise you could fold right there due to some of your outs also completing FD's. I would have made the river call. You have the turn-raiser beat at this point I believe, and the button could be bluffing. The pot is now big enough to call this.

folding the turn is where it's at.

I was going to but i decided to call getting 10-1 on the call. Should i perhaps have check folded the turn?

You don't have the odds to call that raise on the turn. At best you have 4 outs, and I believe you're getting 9-1 here.

Getting ~10:1 on the turn, I think it's close. If you give yourself 4 outs, it's an easy call, but I think you have to discount your outs to around 3 so I think it pushes it more toward a fold.

In the moment, I would probably call the raise as well, but I think I need to learn to fold here more often.

I would like to have some stats/reads here.
But against a normal person, folding the turn wouldn't be bad.

anybody c/r the river? UTG just called, meaning he does not have a flush, so, why not raise?

What do you put button on? He cold-called on the turn...
He could have taken a free showdown.
IMO, he has the flush (or a hand that beats kings up) at least 70% of the time.

yeah, sorry, I misread the hand, I thought UTG bet the river.
Never mind

10:1 with one card to come, you're likely behind, you've got 4 outs to the not-nuts and that's an easy call? Are you sure?
