Opponent is too loose, too aggro, loser over a few thousand hands...thoughts? I was going to go for the flop 3bet, hence my shallow bet, but he didn't oblige, I suppose a flop cr is something to think about here, though if he bets and I check raise and he calls sucks when I miss the turn.

So long as you check/fold any river that does not improve you, I love it.

why didnt you just get all in here? 1000 straight? come on, what is that?

bet more on flop. like 150. you will still be able to push with good fold equity when he raises. and 100 doesn't look like a real hand as you would never bet that little with a set/good made hand. also if he jsut calls, a turn c/r all in will not be so awkward.

a lock that wants a call? Isn't 1000 scarier than all in?

not if he has A /images/graemlins/heart.gif x /images/graemlins/heart.gif or some other pair/draw combination who feels priced in and will then talk himself into a call on the riv or who will win it when you check behind and he has a pair of t's o r something

Is 1/2 pot your standard continuation bet on turn? 'Cause I'd put more in there. Pot flop, pot turn.

...This game surely must be soft if you don't get raised, and if you can feel comfortable raising with suited connectors UTG. Otherwise, I like Gol4's line. an interesting hand....

Just trying to figure out what you're representing here.

Is a lock really possible on this board? If you had a set, would you really be willing to check and chance giving your opponent a free card to outdraw you? This board is loaded with draws.

I think a real monster or lock would bet the flop stronger and lead the turn as well.
