I'm not sure that there is an exact answer. I know Mason has written that the best players play about 15% of their hands. I think this is probably correct for tough games where there is a lot of raising before the flop. Based on a large database of online game (2/4 through 5/10) the best players seem to see the flop between 21-25% of the time. Note that someone seeing the flop 21 or 22 % is voluntarily putting money into the pot about 15% of the time.

How wd u adjust these for SH play (5 or 6 players)?

The fewer players at the table the more flops you need to see. I don't know what's optimal for 5 or 6 handed. Probably around 30%. If it gets to heads-up I believe you need to at least see the flop more than 1/2 the time.

you would play your hand as if three or four had folded ahead of you in a full table game.

hi ray,

is your proposal really true ? i think you have to take into account the fact, that you are "blinding" with a higher frequenzy and therefore should play a little more hands than in a 10 handed game where 4 people folded ?

thanks and bye
