6-handed, villain has not got out of line and seems pretty ABC solid.

He limps to me in SB with KK, I make it $20. Flop is J99 with 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif.

I bet $40, call.

Turn is a brick, I bet $100 he min-raises me. We both start with $400.

I wouldn't lay it down here.

He min reraises - maybe to gain information? He might have a 9 and raises you to find out whether you have a jack or are on a flush draw?

He might also have a jack and have you beaten. However, I think he is behind here, and I would get my money in ASAP just in case he's drawing to the nut flush

I very seriously doubt he called a 5xBB raise with a 9 after limping, unless he has quads. I think you're looking at one of three hands, JJ, QQ, or AA. You might also be seeing AK /images/graemlins/club.gif. You're ahead of 2 of those. Either call to keep it cheap, or push here... I guess. Maybe Im weaktight, but I see a call here.

I'm leaning towards a fold barring a read.

i think this has to be push/fold. if you just call the turn, then whats your plan for the river?

this hand is very read dependant. honestly what would he call a 5xbb raise w/ after limping? the way he played it its just screaming trips or better.

I fold it.

As long as you trust your read, go with it and lay it down. You have to push/fold here and if villian is solid, flat calling that flop and mini-raising the turn sends off some big alarm bells.

The range is more likely JJ, a long shot AA, and a possible drawing hand. Look at the hand again. Put all the pieces together here.
1) Villian is solid and plays ABC poker.
2) Hero is betting the hand strong.
3) Flat call on flop, turn mini-raise.
4) Villian has invested over half his stack by the turn.

Very likely behind at this point, small chance you're ahead.

Sorry, forgot about the part that he is a tight player. Correct, you're most likely behind here.
