What is the big deal about reinstalling windows? Seems like people think it is the end of the world.

It's basically a waste of time. Reinstalling programs/setting things up how they like it isn't how most people enjoy spending their time.

That is the problem, people don't spend enough time to take care of their computer and all this wierd stuff will happen. Reinstalling windows, installing new drivers and maing a few settings in windows to optimize is a free way of freshening up your computer.

It is really not needed unless you have a specific reason to. You can update drivers w/o reinstalling as well.
