Pondering my options on PokerStars since rakeback isn't available anymore on Party. So far, PokerStars NL600 has made Party look like a rock garden!

I don't know much about my opponent here. Advice? Thoughts? Comments?

if you haven't been getting out of line with positional preflop 3 bets, think to self if villan is capable of doing this with less than AA.

I used to be an advocate of playing KK like AA but as circumstances changed since SSNL, I think you can find a fold on turn. of course once you call that turn...I think you are obligated to call river.

When he fires the last shot on the river I am reasonably sure it's AA, but by then you're getting 4:1 and can't fold. You won't see AA here more than 80% of the time.

Opponent showed A/images/graemlins/club.gifA/images/graemlins/heart.gif for the win.

My thoughts were: He's raising from the CO with a variety of hands, and my reraise could also be made from a variety of hands. The key was he only reraised the minimum, which was fishy. Either he had AA or wanted to see where he stood with QQ or JJ, etc. I should have paid more attention to that as it was probably more indicative of the former.

My plan was to let the other player bluff if he has the worse hand or bet to protect against what he thinks is the best hand. The flop was a nothing bet, means nothing. The turn says, ok, he thought he should put the hammer down vs AK if he happened to have QQ, so I called. Now I'm obliged to call the river too.

The position was bad as the table was short-handed, and the positions were ideal for villian. KK goes way up in value, and pre-flop, I had already made a pre-determination to play it out on a non-A flop.

Anyhow, thanks for your thoughts.
