I recently saw Maria Full of Grace (http://www.hbo.com/films/mariafullofgrace/) and thought it was an all around well done film. The story is one which many people have heard about but don't know anything more than the surface stories you hear from the news. I thought the director did a great job detailing the lives of each character and the pressures one goes through in order to succumb to something like this.

Another one I'm looking for to is Elephant. (http://www.hbo.com/films/elephant/) Directed by Gus Van Sant, who did Good Will Hunting, Psycho, and Finding Forrester, I think it's going to be a masterpiece looking into the lives of an American high school and apparently has some sort of Columbine theme to it where 2 kids are going to shoot up the school. Should be interesting to say the least.

Any HBO-type films you've seen recently that you think people should see?
