My wife took me to Flightplan last night. I like Jodie Foster, and that's just as well.
In short, ridiculous plot holes, unbelievable premises, anticlimactic ending. In between, some interesting direction evokes a claustrophobic atmosphere, and a very good performance from Jodie Foster brings us face to face with the combination of blind determination and suppressed fear with which every parent who has faced a missing child situation is very familiar.
But it's just not enough to salvage the poorly executed screenplay. Wait for cable for this one guys.
