Okay, this is a simplification f a $1/2 NL hand i played today:

I called a raise in the BB, now i'm out of position against a solid TAG player...

I had QTs and flopped trips... there was also an ace on the flop, and i read my opponent as having TPTK. anywhoo, i kept check-calling, and on the river the pot was about 1/3 of either of our stacks, and the case Q came out.

board was: Q A Q 4 Q, no flushes possible

So, I had the mortal nuts, quads, and am first to act.

assuming that the rake is already capped, and the aggressive, solid opponent has an ace, and he will not believe/consider that i may have quads 99+% of the time... is there any theroetical difference between:

A: pushing all in right off (3x pot bet)
B: going for a C/R all-in
and C: betting the pot or less intending to push when raised?

I don't really see one... if A, he'll call, if B, he'll likely bet and call a push, and if C, he'll push/reraise-call all in... right?
