This is a $109 Double-Shootout on Stars. Payout is scaled on the second table all the way from 1st to 10th with no unusual sized jumps. I've seen AsianJ play DSO's before and I know he final tables frequently, so I read him as a very good player. The rest of the table doesn't look that strong.

Edit- BTW this is the final table.

I think you should bet the turn here and make him pay for his 3 outer KJ or backdoor flush draw. Also, if you get checkraised you can fold without feeling too bad about it.

I also like reraising preflop with AK sometimes to get it heads up and avoid a nightmare 4-way flop like you got. As played, though, I think you were behind 95% of the time on the river and had to fold.

I don't think you can check the turn here. Other than that, looks pretty much OK.

But when I bet the turn I'm basically comitting my stack to the hand no matter what...

I like the preflop call. Betting on the turn is okay, but with 2 calls I would of tended to check here as well hoping for a cheap showdown. Now on to the river decision.

Well if you read Asianj to be a very good player what hands would he call with on the flop that have you beat? 22 and jj are not as likely with 2 of each on the board, but still a possibility. AJ or A2 would make sense because he should't be afraid leting AQ or AK draw to 3 outs and there's not really any other draws on the board.

Would he bet an ace here? You would know better than most here since you have seen him play. IMO I do think he would bet AK and AQ, AT maybe A9, but other than that I doubt it.

I don't really worry about PRECIOUSACES behind here because I think he would of led out if he had a jack looking for calls from aces.

-If you call and win you are at 2160.
-If you fold you are at 1120.
-If you call and lose you are at 700.
-If you call and split with AK you are at 1640.

I'm sure someone else could find out the exact percentage of the time you did have to be ahead, but I don't want to.
I don't think you are ahead enough of the time to make a call on the end though against a very good player.

Yes I know all my thoughts are pretty random, but that's how I think

I'd prefer to reraise PF.

I bet the turn. Looks like it's a push, actually.
