I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's all poker. Against good players that rarely overbet the pot anyway PL is not much different than NL. Just show up, play smart and hope you get cards.

Ok, there's not quite a wait list yet. But WebGuySteve, bawcerelli, and downtown have told me that a check is in the mail. When I get their checks, they will become the first on the wait list. Now, the wait list isn't really a wait list because at least a few players from HUC 1 are going to flake and not get their check to me by December 1st. At that point, I said I would re-open registration. When I do that, the wait list guys will take the reserved spots.

Important Note: A $200 player can not take a $500 player's spot. For example, iMsoLucky0 is a $500 player. If he flakes and doesn't register by Dec. 1st, a $500 spot is open. I will not sell that spot for $200. In other words, the $200 spots are essentially sold out.

I understand that my seeding would remain as a $200, but could I go ahead and sweeten the pot and go for the whole deal if my roll feels up to it come presidents day? Yes, a $200 player can add $300 to the pool and become eligible for the whole prize pool if he wishes. If he does so after the draw, his seeding will not change, however.

I didn't segregate the unreserved spots. It was just first come/first serve.

Now that only reserved/unpaid spots will be available, I can't let the prize pool shrink. So, for example, if Apathy doesn't sack up... you have to pay $500 for his spot. But if Beefcake flakes, you could buy it for $200

The "Short Bus" (SFB-FB-Bones-Yugo) will arrive at Wynn Poker Room on Fri. (2/17) at exactly 11:30AM local time.
Past 2+2 extravaganzas have all started there....It is Irieguy's plan to have a major get-together for drinks/dinner on Fri. night....Some participants may be playing in MTT's around town on Friday, but they will all be knocked-out before dinner.

BTW - I'm taking the "overs" on how many time NewtBuggs gets carded = 25

Friday Night &amp; Sat. Night will be party nights /images/graemlins/smile.gif...Sunday will be a "soft" calender....Saturday will be a long day &amp; I am a little concerned about whether we will finish on Sat.
