I have a sneaking suspicion that the new Overstock.com commercial is voiced over by a different but similar female voice.

I'm sure no one cares, but this IS OOT after all. This is about as "other" of an "other topic" I can think of.

Discuss.

I always thought that those commercials were really over sexualized. What with the woman, with the necklace hanging down into her cleavage repeating their slogan in her throaty voice "It's all about the Ooooooooh."

She's hot. David Sklansky agrees, if anyone remembers that thread.

I was SOOOO hoping this would come up.

Where is that guy who's brother's uncle's sister's cousin's ex-roomates former therapist's ex wife had a lesbian experience in college with the O girl?

Didn't he guarantee a hook up? Wasn't DS gonna pay upwards of 5 figures if he closed the deal?

Well, if DeBeers can figure out how to attach love to selling diamonds without society falling over backwards guffawing, I guess Overstock can associate books and household odds and ends with sex.

IMO it definitely isn't the same voice /images/graemlins/mad.gif Although, like you said, it seems similar.

In the original commercial I thought I detected a Canadian accent. In the new one she sounds all together different. It seems like a voice-over yet it also appears as though it is cheaply produced or something. Kind of like film where the voice and lip movements are out of sync.

These ads along with the people PC ads, are some of the worst on television.
