Villain was average-aggressive after a 30 hands.

I cap personally. You are behind 88/99/56/AA. Of those hands AA is out. So you are basically behind three hands and ahead of all the two pairs, A9, 98 etc. It really looks like villian had 98.

If he is agressive I cap it, you are just ahead of some many reasonable hands that he could hold.

Did he have 45?

i fold that preflop unless i'm sitting in the wrong seat (ie. i usually have the tight guys on my left, and i don't like this hand here for two bets, or heads up or 3-4 way in an unraised pot).

THAT SAID, yeah i cap it. while i cap, i say, "i gotta see this."

Maybe villain has A8. It is more likely he paired his Ace on the flop. I really doubt he has AA. If he does, he played it well, knowing he was going to get someone to fall into his trap... uh huh (ie. if he really does have AA, he got lucky that someone else flopped trips) and in that case, more power to him - but more often than not, you aren't looking at an overset here, statistically speaking.

He may have slow played his ace on the flop and now bet into you because he doesn't know you have trips, unless you showed him.

Cap it.

I'd cap. Villain came alive on the turn and river. I'd put him on 89 or A8/A9 or something.
