View Full Version : New $10/20 mix game at Wynn

10-13-2005, 05:23 PM
I don't know when this game started, I have been on vacation for the last couple of weeks. I went to Wynn last night and saw they had a $10/20 mix game with Hold'em, Omaha8, Stud8, 2-7 Draw and I think Razz.

Bellagio has a $40/80 mix game that is well liked and runs almost every day. I think this $10/20 game would be great, the limit will draw more people to it than the $40 game IMO.

I like to play all poker games and this is a chance to do it without playing higher limits. If anyone is intrested check it out I'd like to see this game run everyday or close to it.

Can you confirm the games it contains? I presume it's 2-7 Triple Draw rather than KC Lowball.

If they're spreading TD and Razz in a mixed game I can actually afford, I may have to contemplate a trip.

You should post this in the B&M forum as well.

Yeah its triple draw. I am not sure on the razz. I am going to go down there tonight at 8ish and I'll see what is what.

I had friends in town and wasn't playing last night so I jsut stoped by the poker room for a look. When we left it was 3am and the game was 6 handed so it looks like it has some staying power.

If this game is a regular deal, I am much more likely to go out to vegas some time soon. Thanks for the info Kyle. Mind keeping us posted about this?

If 27 is in the mix, I assume the game is always 6 handed or less? Are they trying to play 27 with 8?

The typical method seems to be having two players sit out each 2-7 hand.

From watching a friend play $200-400 mix last weekend they pass a missed blind button in front of the blinds so you sit out the hand before your big blind

Someone in the B&M forum says that they do play razz.

So, um, what do they call this game? HOETR? EORTH? THORE? The fact that a mixed game without a catchy acronym is running is impressive.

Isn't this the same setup thats been running in the 40/80 game at the Bellagio for a few months now? Thats how BugStud started playing TD.

Played in the game tonight. It was a great game lots of action, players new to some of the games. We played Hold'em, Omaha/8, Razz, Stud/8, 2-7 TD. I like this setup with 2 flop games 2 stud games and 1 draw.

Me too. I'm drooling. But I'm a long way from playing $10/$20 and I'm unlikely to go to Vegas to play in any case.

*sigh*

If only GG had a player base.

Who were you? I was in the 3 seat, short blond hair. God, there was a huge fish in that game last night. Limps into the pot in 2-7, then draws 5.

I was in the 6 with a blue hat and grey shirt. After you and your friend left we were 4 handed untill a lady came and sat in the 8 that had not idea how to play razz, stud/8 or 2-7. She put in $100 on the river of a 2-7 game and showed her 7,6,4,2,A! An oter guy showed down a "bad 7" he didn't know how bad until we saw it was 7,6,5,4,3. In Razz I had a 9,6 and the only other guy was board locked into a 10, he cr the river!

If I wasn't such a bad stud/8 player and would stop breaking made hands in 2-7 I could have killed that game. As it was I still did better than most nights in 15/30. The game was so good I gave a up chance to play PLO!!

I showed up well after she did. And stuck around long enough to as I said before see her limp in in 2-7 and then draw 5.

10-22-2005, 09:57 PM
Oh ok. there was a guy that had short blonde hair in that seat before you. I know who you are now. Was it U that made the "bad 7" or was it the guy next to you?
