Villain hasn't played a lot of hands, was surprised I got a call PF. Put him on a big ace. Should I have bet fourth or fifth street? He's played his few hands very aggressively and hasn't shown down much.

Any comments? Thanks.

I think you need to bet the flop. You've represented a strong hand pre-flop, and the last thing you want to do is give the villain a chance to take it away from you. If you bet the ace, and he comes over the top (or even just calls), you can probably shut it down, but if you give up your big pairs every time an overcard falls, you are leaving a lot of money on the table.

I don't check them down every time, I just had the sense that this guy was trapping. He was delay checking and I just felt like he was better than me. Turns out he wasn't.
