Villain is 77/20/0.7 over 300 hands.

I was gonna check/call turn and bet/fold river.

Final Pot: 7.50 BB

I was wondering if 3betting flop or donking turn would have been a better line? Because with the line I took I miss 1 bet on the turn.

do you know what kinds of hands villian likes to open w/ from the CO?

.7 agro factor raising on the flop would kind of freak me out too, you don't see a free card play from someone this passive almost ever. This line is what I would use.

His VPIP is almost 80 though. 0.7 AF for a VPIP that high isn't as passive as you'd think. It doesn't make him super agg but he's not exactly peddlin nuts either. When this type of player raises the flop I don't think it tells you a whole lot about his hand. You can narrow his range down to an ace or a PP maybe but I think you beat a decent amount of his hands here. I 3-bet the flop, lead the turn, and bet a non-ace river against this guy. I think a stop and go is another viable option. It sucks to check the turn and give the guy a free look at 9 outs.

this is important. with a 20 vpip .7 is weak. with an 80vpip, .7 is pretty aggro

i think you played it fine. now you know that he will raise overcards on the flop hu.

or you know that he will give free cards on the turn so you can peel on the flop.
