Hey guys. I mostly play tourneys and SNGs, so I'm not sure what to do with this one. Feedback on any and all streets appreciated, but mostly interested in the river decision. This is kind of like a deep-stack tourney decision, no?

rivers a fold, not too close.

bet 20 on the flop

just call the turn, or bet. i dont like checkraising here, it creates a hard to play river.

By the way, villain was at the table before I got there, and I was there for 45 min. or so before this hand developed. During that time he didn't do anything maniacal. My image is relatively solid, but I played a lot of hands.

Fold. His turn bet is interesting, but still fold.

Is AJ, J10 out of the question?

I don't like the turn c/r. Bloats the pot OOP, and as stated before, makes the river harder to play.

I usually bet/call the turn, then check/call the river (moderate bet).

raise more preflop.

check call the turn.

block the river.

Does anyone else think the size of the river bet is horrible? Don't you have to bet 1/3-1/2 pot in this position?.

How is this line
Pot flop
Half pot turn

I think half potting the turn would allow you to fold to a raise no?

I would bet more on flop, probebly lead again on turn, river is a fold

I folded the river. I guess JT is a possiblity here(AJ is not, IMO), but I think JJ and TT, or a connector type hand with a 6 is much more likely, more likely than the pot odds I'm getting. And if I had it to do over again, I would check-call a reasonable bet on the river. If I didn't do that, I would certainly make a larger bet ($60?) and fold to a push. I think JJ is his most likely hand.

Thanks for the replies. Any further thoughts?

Bet more on flop.

I hate the turn check. What do you do if he pots the turn when you check? I'd bet 30 on the turn.

River "value" bet sucks given he called your turn raise. I'd check the river and call a moderate bet.
